Where to begin with the Week 1 recap? From Thursday Night’s scoring extravaganza to Monday Night’s history-making performances, quite an opening weekend. I would imagine ‘Mr. Monday Night’ Gid’s Kids was feeling somewhat good knowing he had a 46.7 pt lead (with no Arian Foster) going into to MNF. I would imagine Mike’s Bastards was feeling somewhat down knowing they had 34.5 pts from Cam Newton sitting on the bench. Brady makes history, and the Law Firm litigate a 2 pt victory over the Kids. Other notes:
- Buzzards Nest get solid games all around and hold off MOTU to capture the first Bullet Train of the year.
- The Stafford-to-Megatron connection is going to be tough to beat this year; Heroes win their opener.
- McFadden gets stuffed at the 1 foot line, and that propels The Twat Licker to a smooth victory over the Machine.
- The defending champ wastes no time in stamping his mark on the league with a laugher over the Dust Devils, who are left with the first Crappie of the year, and dreams of #18 seasons gone by.
