The first round of divisional play is over, and what did we learn? Nothing really, except that perhaps we all will be auto-drafting next year. Team Kelly continues to torch the league with stellar pitching from Jake Peavy, and offensive juggernauts like Corey Hart, Matt Joyce, and Kelly Johnson. Hmm…let’s see how long this lasts. It IS impressive what Jesus Montero is up to.
Team Roberts gets off their mini-slump and catches Ichiro scratching their balls with an 8-2 drubbing (do people still use the word drubbing?). Donnie Barqs hangs on to the slimmest of division leads with a 6-4 victory over I Am-Starting-To-Doubt Theo.
