Fresh off a scouting trip to the Bay Area, a few owners checked out AT&T Park this past Thursday, one day after pure perfection from Matt Cain. Cain did his part and helped Bust-her Posey strikeout Team Kelly, 7-3-0. The ERA battle was close (2.455-2.564), but not as close as WHIP (0.970-0.972). Wow! Team Vidlund does even better with James Shields, Doug Fister, and Johnny Cueto? Wow…in a different way!
Injuries continue to pile up, which means more waiver wire transactions. Interesting to note: #1 Sweet Chin Music has made 83 transactions, but #4 Barqs has only made 26, and #5 Johan has only made 6! Brings up an interesting question, do more transactions equal fantasy wins?
