The first round of the playoffs is over, and as it should be, both matches were close. In fact, both matches ended 5-5-0, and per the tie breaker rules, the higher seed moves on. A late HR by Delmon Young sealed the deal for Barqs, and some bad pitching by the Ichiro staff on Sunday sealed the deal for Moneyball.
The consolation bracket wasn’t as close, but Team Kelly, Team CCI, and I Trust Theo all win. Final rankings are at stake, so keep up with your team!
