The regular season ends with high Monday Night drama, as the Dust Devils sweat one out and hold on for the 0.5 pt victory over Alfred Morris and the BULLDOGS. Whoa! Devils swoop in to take the #2 seed and the Blue Division. BULLDOGS still get in as well. Other notes:
- Win and in: The AZ Gamblers (back to that name I see) needed a win, and they get it in style, collecting their 3rd Bullet Train for the year. Good thing…the franchise needs some cash to cover all the waiver wire transactions.
- Odd Man out: Lupe’s Warriors needed a win and some help, and got neither as H.Y.C. plays spoiler behind WMD AP and eliminates Lupe from playoff contention. Back to Mexico, my friend.
- The Pimp and a Limp: The defending champ continues to roll, tying a league record with 11 regular season victories, and collect the Mike Martz trophy for most pts scored in a season. The Senator better start feeling good pretty quickly as they lose, and collect their 2nd straight Crappie.
- Crappie Master: Mike’s Bastards. Enough said, I believe we have beat this story to death…
We are already over last years totals for transactions and money, so this years champ will make more than last year…
