The first road race of the year usually provides some pretty tense moments, especially on those restarts. Unfortunate for me at least, I did not see one minute of this race as I was on the golf course, but it looks like some of the big names wrecked out early and often. Surviving the carnage was Mr. NAPA-know-how Martin Truex Jr., who takes the win and the skin for the defending champ. A must needed win for Conn who creeps back up into the playoff chase.
