LFN Results–Watkins Glen: Yooper Drive moving in on #1 seed

My apologies for a slight miscalculation from last weeks post; there are 26 races in our regular season, and we just had the 22nd, so 4 races remain.  Too many seasons on the brain these days!  Everybody is still alive in the playoff hunt.  Anyhow, huge wrecks dictated the outcome of several matchups this week, and coming out smelling like roses is once again Yooper Drive, easily taking down Smoke-less Shake and Bake and strengthening their grip on the #1 seed, currently holding a 2.5 game lead over T-Bone/Barqs Motorsports.

  • Fender Benders def. HSG Racing, 94.75-72.50
  • TRiM def. Buzz, 72.25-65.00
  • T-Bone def. Barqs Motorsports, 69.00-48.50
  • Yooper Drive def. Shake and Bake, 86.25-59.75
  • JR Nation def. Busch Whackers, 53.75-47.75

Skin: AJ Allmendinger (None)

In the Earnhardt Division, nothing is clear!  4 of the 5 teams could still win the division, and that is obviously key for many reasons.  JR Nation holds the spot for this week, but Fender Benders keeps pace with the big win over HSG Racing.  I have a feeling I’ll be doing a lot of head-to-head calculations in a month…
