The LFFL final is set! This year’s semifinals matchups weren’t as exciting or high scoring as last year, but one matchup did come down to the MNF game. Will we have a new champ, or a 3-time champ? Dust Devils vs. T.Y. Hiltunen for the title!
We say goodbye to last year’s finalists as the top two seeds both fall. #1 H.Y.C. needed a MNF miracle, but Drew Brees dominated the game, putting up 30.7 pts and putting #4 T.Y. Hiltunen into their 3rd finals matchup in 4 years. Ravens D with 27 pts.
It’s been a good run for our defending champ, but the #2 BULLDOGS bow out of this year’s playoffs with a whimpering 79.9 pts, and the #3 Dust Devils advance to their first ever finals match. The two headed monster of Charles/Bell will be tough to beat.
In the Toilet Bowl, C’Mon Man will face the Gronk Show for the $25 prize. No team went 0-13 this year; I would really like to change this ‘Toilet Bowl’ tourney/trophy to another name.
