It was a dizzying weekend of sports with the Derby, the fight, and baseball of course! The much anticipated matchup between division leaders Barqs and Flash Gordon was…a rout. Kendrys Morales hasn’t realized that he is Kendrys Morales yet, and continues to mash, clubbing in 10 RBI’s this week as Barqs takes down Flash 7-3-0 and putting FG into a tie for the division lead with Bros before Hosmer. Is there a tougher division than the Caray Division? I think not. Other highlights:
- Caray Power #1: Leading the charge in this division is W.M. Dee, who claim the 6-4-0 win over Perfect in Seattle. Josh Reddick with 3 HR’s/12 RBI’s this week. No, that is not a typo.
- Caray Power #2: Continuing their early season success. To the Max Fo Scherzer rides a hot offense and claims the 7-2-1 over the defending champ. Nelson Cruz has 13 HR’s this year. No, that is not a typo.
- Caray Power #3: Sweeping the pitching categories with their young fresh arms is de Diamond Sharp, holding on to get the 6-4-0 win over HOLY COW. Billy Hamilton had ZERO stolen bases this week. No, that is not a typo.
