We are cruising into the second half of the season (damn…half over already?) and several of the league leaders are falling back to the pack.  Flash Gordon is currently holding onto that coveted 6th playoff spot, helping their cause this week with the 7-3-0 beatdown of Donnie Barqs, losing only 1 offensive category by 1 run.  Can we really trust A-Rod?  No.  Other highlights:

  • Alive: The defending champ may be down, but is definitely not out!  They hold on and take the 6-4-0 victory over TTMFS.  Lorenzo Cain for MVP?
  • Even Flow: Rusty Trumbo was leading all week, but could not hold on and W.M. Dee takes the slim 5-4-1 victory.  RT old player that was traded away comes back to haunt him.  Manny Machado for MVP?
  • Jeremy: Plugging away at the top of the division is a familiar face, Bros Before Hosmer, and they take the 7-3-0 win over Autodraft.   We have a Jeremy Hellickson sighting!!  John Lackey for MVP?
