This is the kind of week you hope for in fantasy football, tons of scoring!  We had three teams in the 140’s, and this ranked as the 6th highest scoring week in LFFL history with 1476.90 pts [top scoring week: 1502.00, Week 2, 2011].  A lot of this scoring was generated last night, with ARod, RCobb, JMac, and JCharles providing plenty of punch.  The one most benefiting from this?  Outta Nowhere, getting the ultimate garbage time TD from JCharles with 1:25 left on the clock, claiming their 2nd Bullet Train of the year by 1.8 pts, and their LFFL record-tying 16th overall skin.  The 149 pts scored is nowhere near the record, which is 183.1 pts set last year in Week 6 by…Outta Nowhere.  Other notes:

  • Give me Fuel:  I called out KFC last week, and they respond in a big way, putting up 141.1 pts, throttling TBTNW by 23.7.  Key Observation: JJones also put up good numbers last night, and we have LBlunt sighting.
  • Give me Fire:  We’ve never had a team ‘win’ 3 consecutive Crappies, and…we still don’t as the BULLDOGS lose big, but score enough .  Key Observation:  I’m feeling Gid’s Kids Inbox is flooded with trade offers for LFitz right about now.
  • Give me that which I Desire: Remaining 1 of 2 undefeated teams is H.Y.C., whose loyalty to DeAWill is admirable, if not curious.  They get by MBB with a little help on MNF from ARod.  Key Observation:  I’m feeling MBB’s Inbox is flooded with trade offers for ALuck right about now.
  • Crappie Luck: Some bad luck for the Rat Bastards as Big Ben takes a hard hit and gets carted off, and they collect the Crappie this week.  Key Observation:  Julio Jones is just sick…when is his bye week?

Key Matchups: Week 4
Dust Devils v. MBB: Both hard luck Week 2 losers
Gid’s Kids v. Rat Bastards: Flacco to the rescue?
